Old bones, new approach

Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP

Before retaining iN STUDIO, TGF believed they had outgrown their space and it no longer fit their needs—to use their words, it was “old and dated”. Through an audit of their standards and novel approach to their planning, our team transformed the space to accommodate new growth while keeping TGF’s pedigree address and views in the TD Center.

  • Our team completed high level Workplace Strategy to standardize and streamline all spaces, and introduced new ways of meeting and collaborating. We also added client facing meeting rooms and AV throughout the space to set them up for the future, and also completed an audit of the perimeter mechanical systems that continued to malfunction and use valuable real estate.

Charged with resetting their brand for the future, our team began with a visioning workshop in order to build consensus. All spaces are tech enabled and all furniture was replaced through a competitive bid process. Our final solution took the entire firm to a new and contemporary setting, updated mechanical systems to address acoustic concerns, plus a 15 % increase in work points and touch down spaces for both clients and busy professionals. Office fronts were delicately removed and reinstalled to meet current codes, saving the client valuable dollars in the process.
