To reflect its evolving culture and workplace standards, Cushman & Wakefield undertook a comprehensive interior renovation of its Vancouver office, prominently located in the city’s downtown core. Having occupied space at 700 West Georgia Street since 2003, the firm consolidated previously dispersed suites into a unified, efficient workplace spanning a full floor. This strategic move aimed to create a cohesive environment that authentically reflects the company’s identity and modern operational needs.

At the heart of the new design is a spacious, client-focused zone featuring a welcoming reception area, an engaging coffee bar, and versatile meeting spaces. The flexible boardroom is uniquely designed to open up, transforming seamlessly into a multifunctional space ideal for client events and internal town hall meetings—reinforcing the firm’s commitment to connectivity and collaboration.

Efficiency and openness were key drivers of the workplace transformation. By minimizing the number of enclosed offices and placing them at the core, Cushman & Wakefield achieved a significantly brighter, more open environment. This layout maximizes natural light and promotes collaboration, further supported by integrated collaboration areas that also function as flexible hotelling desks.
